The Fussy Clay: mould, mould, mould to forms

Hi everyone, today I would like to share with you some of the little clay works I did some time ago. The main method to form these little darlings was by combining two clay pots together to form into a sphere and beating them into shapes with a spatula. Patterns are formed using various carving and moulding tools. My favourite was the lone clay work featured on the left. It was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's painting, 'Starry, starry night'. Did you notice that the winding tentacles-lookalike parts on top were moulded after the cypress tree in the painting?  =)

Make A Jingle: a christmas 2010 ornament project

Hi everyone, are you hearing the jingle yet? Well, perhaps yes and perhaps no but definitely soon enough!

Before the Christmas tree is going to sing and wave for everyone on the 25th of this month, The Art Fuss will bring to you 'Make a Jingle', a christmas tree ornament making art project.

Have your child make his or her own ornaments that will bring a smile to everyone's lips this year. We will conduct the lesson at the childcare center as long as there are a minimum of 4 students.
